University Interscholastic League Tournaments
The University Interscholastic League was created by The University of Texas at Austin and provides educational extracurricular academic, athletic, and music contests. UIL organizes and properly supervises contests that assist in preparing students for citizenship by providing healthy, character building, educational activities that promote good sportsmanship and fair play for all participants. For many years, sensible organized competition has demonstrated its value and furnished inspiration to many students.
UIL hosts fall sports including team tennis, cross country, volleyball and football. In the spring, athletes participate in swimming & diving, basketball, wrestling, soccer, tennis, golf, track & field, softball and baseball.
